Opaque colors are not suitable for coloring the metallic and pearl colors. Because the opaque colors covers the metallic and pearl effects in gelcoat. With the same reason the button manufacturers can not use pearls to color the pastes.
The color pastes in this group are used to color gelcoat, polyester resins and furniture lacks.
They are used to build intermediate colors mixing within themselves and the transparent colors with any ratio. If this intermediate color is going to be used in brush type gelcoat application, a test for separation must be made to avoid possible floating. You will find specific information about all these color pastes at Polipigment original color catalog or at the Product technical bulletins.
You can request colors as Polipigment Color Pastes or can request as colored gelcoat such as Polijel P-213 Gelcoat 01 White.

►The important point is, if different colors from organic and inorganic colors used together to form a new color, this mixture tends to have pigment flooding, floating problems due to differences in densities and structures.
►Gelcoats colored with intermediate colors made from organic and inorganic Polipigment color pastes mixtures should be applied with gelcoat spraying technique and avoiding dripping, dragging and heap otherwise there can be a visible color change. Also you can request Poliya T-90-50 additive from Poliya or Poliya sales points to prevent this problem it used about 1/1000-2/1000 ratios, and also Poliya T-90-50 increases the thixotropy.

Polipigment 05 White has a high opacity, and a economic color paste used to color polyester and gelcoat. Polipigment 01 White or Polipigment 09 White should be used where white color and chemical resistance is required at the same time.

Polipigment 13 Light yellow is a high opacity, inorganic color paste. It contains heavy metal pigments therefore it can not be used for food contacting equipment manufacture. In this cases you should prefer Polipigment 120 Light Yellow and Polipigment 01 White mixture as an alternative.

Polipigment 15 contains mostly inorganic pigments. It's almost resistant to all chemicals excluding strong acids and bases. It contains heavy metal pigments therefore it can not be used for food contacting equipment manufacture.

Polipigment 155 Dark Yellow is corresponding to the RAL color RAL 1028 Melongelb however the color can not been seen exactly on the screen.

Polipigment 17 is made of oxide base pigments. It can be used in any ratio in polyester or gelcoat. It can not be effected from any any chemicals.

Polipigment 23 is a classical inorganic structure color paste with very high opacity value. It can be mixed with any color paste to form intermediate colors.
Polipigment 33 HELIO BLUE

When Polipigment 33 is used alone in polyester or gelcoat it gives transparent dark blue color. When used about 6%-10% it gives a black like blue color. It is highly stable color paste which could be used in any field in confidence. When used in gelcoat at high ratios it might have a negative influence on gel time or cure time.
Polipigment 43 is high opacity, effective and dark black colored color paste. When it is used 0,5% in resin it gives transparent black color. When it is used 3-6% ratios it starts to act opaque. When it is mixed with other pigment to form intermediate colors it tends to create a separation phase. Therefore you can refer the guide above. These colors should be applied with gelcoat spray gun avoiding dragging, dripping and heap. It has a negative influence on gel time and/or cure time.

Polipigment 531 is a inorganic structure color paste with very high opacity value and effective. It is resistant to most of chemicals excluding strong acids and bases. Polipigment 531 Red is approximately corresponding to the RAL color RAL 3020 Verkehrsrot however the color can not been seen exactly on the screen. It contains heavy metal pigments therefore it can not be used for food contacting equipment manufacture.
Polipigment 535 is color paste with very high opacity value and effective. It has the maximum level of weathering resistance. It contains heavy metal pigments therefore it can not be used for food contacting equipment manufacture.
Polipigment 571 is very high opacity value and effective color paste. When it is used it must be over 1% in the polyester resin or gelcoat, when it is used less it can fade due to MEK-P effect. It contains heavy metal pigments therefore it can not be used for food contacting equipment manufacture. It has a negative influence on gel time and/or cure time when it is used over 2% in coloring the polyester resin or gelcoat.
Polipigment 575 gives very bright and vivid red color. It has a high weathering performace.

Polipigment 579 is a vivid red colored and effective color paste. It is safe for food contacting equipment manufacture.
Polipigment 59 CLARET

When Polipigment 59 is used at 6-12% in polyester or gelcoat it a stable color for outside use. When used at low levels it an fade due to MEK-P, when low level of usage is required you can use Polipigment 72 Violet as an alternative color choice.
Polipigment 63 HELIO GREEN

When Polipigment 63 is used alone in polyester or gelcoat it gives transparent dark green color. When used about 6%-10% it gives a black like green color. When it is required to used as an opaque paste it should be mixed with Polipigment 01 White or Polipigment 13 Light Yellow to form a opaque color. It is highly stable color paste which could be used in any field in confidence. When used in gelcoat at high ratios it might have a negative influence on gel time or cure time.
Polipigment 72 VIOLET
72 VIOLE
Polipigment 72 is semi transparent color paste with high resistance and effective level. It acts like transparent color paste when used about 0,1-1% in polyester/gelcoat when used higher ratios it gives dark claret color. It is highly stable color paste which could be used in any field in confidence, its weathering and chemical resistances are ultimate.

74 VIOLE
Polipigment 74 is bluish violet color paste. It is resistance levels are very high, when it is used 1% or more in polyester resin it gives a black like dark purple color. When it is mixed with white, it can be used to get any suitable purple color.
All the colors in this group are; inorganic, opaque and resistant to all chemical materials includind acids and alkalis.bases.
They do not fade even if they are used to form very light colors. H.T. colors are also resistant to high temperatures even the polyester products can not resist. Also these color pastes are ideal for maximum U.V. (ultra violet and weathering resistance) is required.
